Adélaïde was born in Paris, France in the late 19th century and was a formidable spirit, but was plagued by many illnesses throughout her life. The incomplete knowledge of western medicine during the late 1800s and early 1900s provided no clear answer to her ailments. She was left to search for alternative answers, seeking cures in many unusual forms, bringing her on a rich global journey of discovery.

Adélaïde found respite, truth, resolution and healing in her journey across the globe. Her travels took her to many destinations, including the Far East, Europe, Australia and onward to North America. Throughout her travels, Adélaïde carefully documented her experiences and discoveries, granting us the unique ability to share these with you.
